This is a wonderful family owned restaurant in Acworth.  I know it may be a drive for some of us but it’s worth it.  We’ve been there several times and always get excellent service and food.  The decor is really nice and it seems more like and “intown” restaurant.  Nothing wrong with “OTP”!

I had a delicious salad for my appetizer,  roasted red and golden beets with arugula and goat cheese and tossed with an orange vinagrette dressing.  I loved it!

I ordered penne with proscuitto and peas in a vodka cream sauce and Keoni had the special of the evening, three kinds of tortellini pasta.  The entrees come with a salad or soup and since I was having the beet salad, we both ordered Zuppa di Spozulizo (Italian Wedding soup).  This consists of tiny meatballs and escarole in a rich chicken stock with some kind of small pasta.  Delicious!

Also, they have an excellent wine list and on Wednesday they have 1/2 price on most bottles and 25% off some.  Why are all the places I know about doing the half price wine deal on the same night?  They need to spread it out!
