Keoni and Bonnie

The first time I went into The Hudson Grille, I was not prepared to be impressed.  It’s in same building that was formerly Jocks and Jills at Brookhaven.  It looks like a sports bar so I expected your typical bar food.

I was so happy when I found out that they have a "housemade" veggie burger.  I always ask if they make the veggie burgers on the premises because I don’t want a frozen "garden burger".  Not that there’s anything wrong with that!  I just don’t want to order one in a restaurant.  This one is made with lentils, veggies and spices and it’s so delicious!  You can get sweet potato fries, also.   Keoni gets something different every time.  They have wings, burgers, steak even hot dogs.

Oh, I almost forgot,  the veggie burger with the fries is only $6.95.  I’m such a cheap date, except my Fat Bastard shiraz was $7.00!
